Adient plc (NYSE:ADNT), which provides automotive seating, announced the acquisition of Futuris, which we believe may improve its earn-ings visibility into next year. As in the case of Visteon, Adient shares also reacted to the improved outlook for US new vehicle sales following the recent hurricanes. In addition, an activist investor announced a large position in the company.
