First Commonwealth Financial Corp is a financial holding company. The Company provides consumer and commercial banking services through its bank subsidiary. It also provides trust and wealth management services and offers insurance products.

First Commonwealth Financial Corp was incorporated in Pennsylvania on November 15, 1982. It is a financial holding company which provides consumer and commercial banking services through its bank subsidiary, First Commonwealth Bank. It also provides trust and wealth management services and offer insurance products through FCB and its other operating subsidiaries. The Bank oerates 110 community banking offices throughout western and central Pennsylvania and a loan production office in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Bank also operates a network of 115 automated teller machines, at various branch offices and offsite locations. All of its ATMs are part of the NYCE and MasterCard/Cirrus networks, both of which operate nationwide. The Bank is a member of the Allpoint ATM network which allows surcharge-free access to over 55,000 ATMs. The Bank is also a member of the "Freedom ATM Alliance," which affords cardholders surcharge-free access to a network of over 670 ATMs in over 50 counties in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, West Virginia and Ohio. The Company faces competition for customers, loans and deposits from many companies, including commercial banks, savings and loan associations, finance companies, credit unions, trust companies, mortgage companies, money market mutual funds, insurance companies, and brokerage and investment firms.
