Assembly Biosciences Inc Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
Good morning. I'm Bill Ringo, Chairman of the Board of Assembly Biosciences and a candidate for re-election as a director. I'd like to welcome you to our 2023 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. We are holding this meeting through a virtual only online platform. Thank you all for taking the time to join us.
The meeting is now called to order. Please note that in addition to me, the following directors are present at this meeting, all of whom are candidates for re-election to the Board: Anthony Altig; Gina Consylman; Sir. Michael Houghton; Dr. Lisa Johnson-Pratt; Dr. Susan Mahony; Dr. John McHutchison; and our company's CEO Jason Okazaki. I'd like to take just a minute and recognize Dr. Richard DiMarchi. Richard served on the Board for almost 10 years.
He's elected not to stand for re-election this year. But I'd like to thank him for his contribution, not only on the science side, but also on the business side. He's proved to be an invaluable Director. We wish Richard the best of luck in his many endeavors going
