Westports Holdings Bhd Business Description

Address Pulau Indah, P.O. Box 266, Westports, Port Klang, SGR, MYS, 42009
Westports Holdings Bhd is a Malaysian port operator that runs the container and conventional cargo terminal at Port Klang, one of Southeast Asia's busiest ports, under a long-term concession from the Port Klang Authority. Its core business is container handling, complemented by conventional services covering break bulk, dry bulk and liquid bulk, plus marine services such as bunkering, bulk storage and refrigerated container storage. The terminal serves international shipping lines and cargo owners, functioning as a transshipment hub for intra-Asian trade and as a gateway for Malaysian import and export cargo. Revenue comes mainly from container terminal handling charges, wharfage and marine service fees, with the majority generated domestically, though a significant share of container throughput is transshipment traffic linked to global trade flows.
