Euronet Worldwide Inc. is a provider of electronic payment and transaction processing solutions, operating through three segments: EFT Processing, epay, and Money Transfer. The EFT segment operates ATM networks and provides card outsourcing, card issuing, merchant acquiring, and point-of-sale services, largely in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. The epay segment delivers electronic top-up and prepaid content distribution, payment processing, and digital media distribution through retailer networks, primarily in Europe, Australia, and the Americas. The Money Transfer segment, which generates the largest share of revenue, provides consumer-to-consumer and business-to-business money transfer and foreign exchange services under brands including Ria, Xe, and IME, serving customers worldwide. The company serves financial institutions, retailers, mobile operators, service providers, and individual consumers. Revenue is derived mainly from transaction fees, commissions, and foreign exchange margins, with operations spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America.
