Doosan Corp. is a South Korean company engaged in heavy industries, machinery manufacturing and others through its subsidiaries. The company generates the majority of its revenue from three subsidies: Doosan Infracore, or DI; Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction, or DHC; and Doosan Engineering & Construction, or DEC. DI, which is partially owned by Doosan Corp., is engaged in manufacturing and selling of internal combustion engines, construction machinery, and others. DHC, another company partially owned by Doosan Corp., is engaged in supplying generating units, casting, forging, and other businesses. DEC, whose majority stake is owned by Doosan Corp., is engaged in apartment building constructions. The company generates most of its sales from Asia, the U.S., and Europe.
