Banca Mediolanum SpA is an Italian banking and financial services group controlled by the Doris family and headquartered in Basiglio, near Milan. It serves individuals and households through a network of family bankers (financial advisers) rather than traditional branches, offering current accounts, mortgages, loans, payment cards, and securities and investment services. Its insurance subsidiaries underwrite life and non-life policies, including protection and pension products. Asset management is conducted through Mediolanum Gestione Fondi and related companies, distributing mutual funds and portfolio management services. Operations are organized across Italy, Spain, and Germany, with Italy generating the large majority of revenue. Income comes from net interest margin, fees and commissions on banking, investment, and insurance products, plus insurance premiums and investment returns. The company is listed on the Borsa Italiana.
