Capital Southwest Corporation is a Dallas-based business development company that provides flexible financing to middle-market companies in the United States. It invests primarily in senior secured loans, second-lien and subordinated debt, and, to a lesser extent, equity securities such as preferred and common stock and warrants, often alongside private equity sponsors. The company targets companies across a range of industries, including business services, consumer products, healthcare, industrials, and technology, generally with EBITDA in the lower middle market.
