KBC Groupe NV is a Belgian integrated bank-insurance group serving retail, private banking, small and medium-sized enterprise, corporate, and institutional clients. Its core activities are banking, insurance, and asset management, offered through brands including KBC, CBC, and KBC Bank. The group operates primarily in Belgium and the Czech Republic, which generate most of its profits, with additional banking and insurance operations in Hungary, Slovakia, and Bulgaria, plus a smaller presence in Ireland. KBC also provides leasing, factoring, trade finance, and wealth management services. Revenue comes from net interest income, insurance premiums and investment income, fee and commission income from asset management and payment services, and trading activities.
