Crown Holdings Inc. is a manufacturer of rigid metal packaging for consumer goods and industrial products. Its primary segment, Americas Beverage, produces aluminum beverage cans and ends for soft drinks, beer, energy drinks, and other beverages, serving large beverage and brewing companies. The European Tinplate segment makes food cans, aerosol cans, and specialty packaging, while the Asia Pacific segment serves beverage and food customers across Southeast Asia and China. Crown also produces metal closures and promotional packaging. The company operates manufacturing plants in North America, Europe, South America, and Asia, with a substantial share of revenue generated outside the United States. It sells directly to consumer packaged goods companies and beverage producers under long-term supply arrangements, generating revenue primarily through high-volume can and end sales. Crown divested its Signode industrial packaging business in 2023, refocusing on its core metal packaging operations.
