Helicos BioSciences Corp is incorporated in the state of Delaware and was incorporated on May 9, 2003. It is a life sciences company focused on genetic analysis technologies for the research, drug discovery and clinical diagnostics markets. The Company's products are based on its proprietary True Single Molecule Sequencing (tSMS) technology which enables rapid analysis of large quantities of genetic material by directly sequencing single molecules of DNA or single DNA copies of RNA.
