Its business is organized into two segments: Specialty Finance, which owns and services loans collateralized by taxi medallions and generates interest income, fees, and capital gains, with defaulted loans transferring medallions to Fleet Operations; and Fleet Operations, which generates maximum revenue by owning and operating taxi medallions through a licensed fleet, while also identifying buyers who may purchase medallions through seller financing, creating new loans for the Specialty Finance segment.
