Alaska Air Group Inc is a US-based airline holding company whose principal subsidiaries are Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines, following its acquisition of Hawaiian Holdings in 2024. Alaska Airlines operates scheduled passenger and cargo service on Boeing 737 and Airbus aircraft across a network spanning the US West Coast, the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, Costa Rica and Belize. Hawaiian Airlines provides passenger and cargo service linking Hawaii with the continental US and international destinations including Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, and also operates inter-island flights within Hawaii. Regional flying is conducted by Horizon Air and third-party carriers under capacity purchase agreements. Revenue comes primarily from passenger tickets, ancillary fees such as baggage and seat selection, and the Mileage Plan loyalty program, which also generates co-branded credit card and partner revenue.
