Ems-Chemie Holding AG is a holding company that, through its subsidiaries, manufactures and sells a variety of chemical-based products. The company organizes itself into two segments based on product type: High-Performance Polymers and Specialty Chemicals. The High-Performance Polymers segment, which generates the majority of revenue, manufactures high-performance polyamides and supplies various polyamide materials. The Specialty Chemicals segment specializes in the development and production of fibers, fusible adhesives and adhesive yarn for technical and textile applications, adhesion promoters for the tyre industry, powder coatings and reactive diluents. Geographically, the majority of its revenue comes from Europe and the rest from Asia, the Americas, and other regions.
