Under Armour Inc is a developer, marketer and distributor of branded performance apparel, footwear and accessories for men, women and youth. It markets its products under the brand name of Under Armour, Heatgear, Coldgear, and Allseasongear.

Under Armour markets athletic apparel, footwear, and gear while owning technology assets in Connected Fitness. The brand made its name by developing performance apparel made of synthetic microfiber, designed to wick perspiration away from the skin and help regulate body temperature. Although Under Armour is primarily a wholesaler to sporting goods retailers, it also operates 219 factory-house stores and 76 brand-house stores across the globe. Roughly 22% of total revenue is generated outside the U.S., including Europe, Japan, and China.
