Sun International Ltd is a South African gaming, hospitality, and leisure group. It develops and operates integrated resorts and casinos, including Sun City, GrandWest, Time Square, Wild Coast Sun, and the Table Bay Hotel, alongside urban casinos and limited payout machine operations through its Sun Slots division. Its SunBet unit provides online sports betting and gaming. The company's operating segments comprise urban casinos, which contribute the largest share of revenue, resorts and hotels, Sun Slots, and SunBet. Revenue is generated primarily from casino gaming, hotel accommodation, food and beverage, entertainment, and online betting, with customers drawn largely from the South African market and, at flagship properties such as Sun City, from international leisure and business travellers. The group also has gaming interests elsewhere in Africa, including Nigeria and Botswana, though South Africa remains its principal market.
