Mediobanca SpA is an Italian banking and financial group whose activities span wealth management, corporate and investment banking, and consumer finance. Its wealth management division offers savings products, investment advice, and private banking services to affluent and high-net-worth clients, while the corporate and investment banking arm provides advisory, financing, and capital markets services to Italian and international companies and institutions. The consumer finance business, conducted largely through Compass, offers personal loans, credit cards, salary-backed loans, and buy-now-pay-later products to retail customers. Mediobanca also holds insurance operations and principal investments, including a stake in Assurances Generali. The group generates revenue mainly from net interest income, fees and commissions, and insurance premiums, with consumer finance contributing a significant share. Its primary market is Italy, supplemented by selected international activities in Europe and beyond.
