Daiichi Life Group Inc is a Japanese insurance holding company and one of the country's largest life insurers, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange since its 2010 demutualization. Its core domestic life insurance business, operated mainly through Daiichi Life Insurance, offers individual life, annuity, medical, and group insurance products sold through agencies, bancassurance, and direct channels. The group has expanded overseas, with operations in the United States, Australia, and Asia, including Protective Life and TAL, and also operates noninsurance businesses such as asset management and real estate.
