Central Pacific Financial Corp is a bank holding company whose principal subsidiary, Central Pacific Bank, operates as a full-service commercial bank in Hawaii. It accepts demand and time deposits and originates commercial, construction, commercial and residential mortgage, and consumer loans. The bank also provides wealth management, trust, and insurance services through subsidiaries. Its customers are primarily businesses, consumers, and government entities in Hawaii, with additional operations on the U.S. mainland. Revenue comes mainly from interest and fees on loans, interest on investment securities, and service charges and fees on deposits and other banking services. Deposits are insured by the FDIC up to applicable limits. The company operates as a single reporting segment, banking operations, and its shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange.
