Bendigo and Adelaide Bank is an Australian retail bank formed by the 2007 merger of Bendigo Bank and Adelaide Bank, with origins dating to 1858. It serves consumers, small and medium-sized businesses, and rural and regional communities through a network of company-owned branches, community-owned franchise branches, and digital channels. Its operations span consumer banking, business and agribusiness lending, wealth and insurance products, and wholesale funding activities. The bank operates primarily in Australia, with a community banking model in which local communities share in branch profits.
