Its focus is on the drug candidate IBP-9414, whose development program is designed to show a reduced incidence of necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) and improved gastrointestinal function (SFT) when treated with IBP-9414's active substance Lactobacillus reuteri bacterial strain naturally found in human breast milk.
