Marcopolo SA is a Brazilian auto manufacturer. The line of products includes a wide variety of models, composed of urban, micro, and mini-buses, and the Volare family (complete bus, with chassis and body). The buses are manufactured in facilities predominantly in Brazil, South Africa, Australia, Argentina, Columbia, Mexico, and China. The revenues that the company derives from its exports are marginally higher than that from domestic sales. Marcopolo sells its vehicles under such brand names as Volare, Neobus, Marcopolo Rail, Marcopolo Parts, Moneo, and others. Its activities are divided into two segments, Industrial and Financial. The industrial segment is its core segment which manufactures buses and the financial segment is responsible for financing transactions through Banco Moneo.
