The company, through its subsidiary, is engaged in mining the iron ore present on the IOC Lands leased under the Labrador Sublease and operating the associated mining facilities and plants required for the production of iron ore concentrate and pellets. These facilities are located at Labrador City. In normal circumstances, the subsidiary operates its facilities 24 hours a day on a year-round basis. The company generates the majority of its revenue from IOC royalties.
