Its operations are organized into five geographic segments: Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Mauritius, and Uganda. The group serves personal, business, and corporate customers through retail and commercial banking, offering current and savings accounts, cards, mobile and internet banking, loans, mortgages, asset finance, trade finance, foreign exchange, funds transfer, cash management, and investment management services. Corporate and institutional clients are served with lending, trade services, treasury, and transactional banking products. Revenue is generated primarily from net interest income on loans and advances, supplemented by fees and commissions from transaction banking, trade services, and investment products, along with foreign exchange trading income. The group operates a branch and digital network across its markets, with Kenya remaining its largest market and principal source of earnings.
