Lincoln National Corp is a US-based insurance and retirement solutions holding company operating through subsidiaries including The Lincoln National Life Insurance Company. It reports in four segments: Annuities, Retirement Plan Services, Life Insurance, and Group Protection. Annuities offers fixed, indexed, and variable products; Life Insurance provides term, universal life, variable universal life, indexed universal life, and linked-benefit policies; Retirement Plan Services administers employer-sponsored defined contribution and defined benefit plans; and Group Protection supplies group life, disability, and dental coverage to employers. Customers include individuals, families, and institutional retirement plan sponsors, as well as small, mid-size, and large employers. The company distributes through financial advisors, banks, broker-dealers, wirehouses, benefit brokers, and its own wholesalers, primarily across the United States.
