Along with its subsidiary, it is mainly engaged in attracting deposits from the general public, as well as brokered deposits, and investing those funds in loans secured by commercial and multi-family real estate, first mortgages on owner-occupied, one- to four-family residences, a variety of consumer loans, direct financing leases, and commercial and industrial loans. It also obtains funds by utilizing Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) advances. These funds are generally invested in investment securities, including mortgage-backed and mortgage-related securities and agency and municipal bonds. The Group's primary market area includes Wayne and Shelby counties in Indiana and Shelby, Miami, and Franklin counties in Ohio.
